About Us
St. Mark's is in Morrell Park, a neighborhood in southwest Baltimore. We have been a part of the community for over 90 years. Our roots are in the German evangelical (Protestant) tradition, and we are a part of the United Church of Christ.
Ministries
St Mark's is involved in the community in many ways. We host weekly NA and AA meetings, the St. Agnes Morrell Park Wellness Center, the monthly meetings of the Morrell Park Community Association, and the Guardian Angels, among other community events.
We give moral and financial support to Earl's Place, a transitional shelter for homeless men, which is part of the United Ministries of the UCC in the Baltimore area.
Finally, through the lives of our members, St. Mark's is in ministry throughout the Baltimore area. Whether it be a kind word, a helping hand, or a listening ear, the ministry of St. Mark's is the ministry of its people.
